Ingredients
Seasoning for the chicken
- 500g boneless chicken pieces
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tablespoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- Salt to taste
Butter Chicken Sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon ground fenugreek (kasuri methi)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt to taste

The Recipe
Step One: In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt.
Step Two: Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Let it marinate for at least 2 hours (overnight for best results).
Step Three: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the marinated chicken on a baking sheet and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through and slightly charred.

Step Six: Return the sauce to the pan, reduce the heat, and stir in the heavy cream. Then, let simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.
Step seven: Gently add the tandoori chicken pieces to the sauce and let them simmer for a few more minutes.
