Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch dressing mix
  • 1 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • Salt
  • pepper

But here’s the kicker: making Crack Chicken is as easy as pie (or should I say, chicken?). Even if you’re not a kitchen whiz, you can totally whip up this dish and impress your pals with your culinary prowess. Plus, it’s perfect for those days when you’re feeling lazy but still want a meal that packs a punch.

The Recipe

Step One: wash and dry green onion. Slice.

Step Two: Season chicken breast with salt and pepper on both sides. (let your heart measure)

Step Three: Place the seasoned chicken breast in your crockpot. Along with ranch seasoning mix and softened cream cheese.

Step Four: Cover and cook on low for 7 hours. or on high for 3-4. OR, until your chicken is tender.

Step Five: While that cooks, cook your bacon, chop and set aside for later.

Step Six: When the chicken is done, shred in the crockpot with 2 forks. Stir, making sure the cream cheese gets incorporated into the chicken.

Step Seven: Add in your bacon and give it one more mix.

Step Eight: Sprinkle over the cheese. Cover for 10 more minutes to allow the cheddar cheese to melt.

Step Nine: Serve the Crack Chicken hot and with your favorite sides like rice, salad, or even on a sandwich!

Step Ten: Enjoy!
